It was yet another major event for Isuzu Malaysia as thousands of Tawau residents came and enjoyed a great time at this year’s Isuzu Fest. This was the second time that the Isuzu Fest had visited this coastal town and the response was no less overwhelming.

There were activities for everyone throughout the two days that the Isuzu Fest was held at the Universal Motors Isuzu showroom in Taman Berkeley that saw crowds packing in for the activities and games.

According to CEO of Isuzu Malaysia Takashi Hata, the Isuzu Fest was a fun and rewarding way for people to get familiar with Isuzu and its products. “We started this concept in Malaysia nearly three years ago and it has proven to be very successful in introducing our dealer and our products to the local communities,” he said.

The weekend is usually filled with numerous activities that engage members of the public regardless of age and everyone who registers at the door usually leaves with great prizes and fond memories.

One of the popular attractions of the Isuzu Fest has been the mini concert where renowned recording artistes are invited to perform to packed galleries. Eager fans are usually rewarded with the opportunity to get autographed posters at the end of the evening as well.

Another popular activity has been the Dura-Miles Challenge where anyone with a valid driving license can compete along a set route in specially-outfitted Isuzu D-Max to discover the driver who uses the least amount of fuel.

“The success of Isuzu Fest has been due to its distinctively-different appeal where there’s something for everyone, be they the young or the young at heart. We believe that visitors actually come for the fun and stay for the excitement,” added Hata.
