Mr. Sennett Tzinberg

"It's like a car in the body of a truck. Very comfortable."

For VIPs like Lord Leicester, not just any 4x4 will do.

Your vehicle cannot break down on the highway. And you cannot compromise when you’re driving very-important-passengers.

If you haven’t already guessed, Lord Leicester is a horse, living the lifestyle of a thoroughbred’s fantasy at the posh Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club. All at the expense of Mr. Tzinberg.

Mr. Tzinberg also owns 36 other horses in his resort - Rider’s Lodge, Johor. The horses travel outstation a fair bit, sometimes as far as Singapore.

When Lord Leicester travels, he gets into a ‘float’ towed by Mr. Tzinberg’s Isuzu. “Towing a 3-horse float is no small feat. That’s why the 4x4 is a 3.0L D-Max.”

Some things you can’t prevent

The unpredictable happens (even to a vehicle reputed to be one of the most reliable in its class).

Mr. Tzinberg recalls the encounter with a flat tyre returning from Johor. Could he have pulled over? Not when you are towing 3 horses that get restless in a stationary float.

He drove on and risked damaging the wheel. It was a small price to pay for his horses’ comfort.

Apart from that minor hiccup, Mr. Tzinberg has no other mishap to report.

For very practical reasons, for very precious cargo

When you do everything in the best interests of your cargo, how do you pick your ride? Very simple - “based on reliability.”

“I need a vehicle I never have to worry about.”

Fuel efficiency is another thing he appreciates, “The needle barely moves!” This comes from a man who makes weekly 318 km trips to Johor.

How does he feel behind the wheel? Mr. Tzinberg says, “It’s like a car in the body of a truck. Very comfortable.”

As for Lord Leicester, well, he’s looking pretty contented too.
